THE GOOD NEWS
Sophomore G Grant Maxey goes into next season expecting to be a leader and should benefit from a solid season. Junior G Darrion Griffin had a solid season and should team up with Maxey to give JSU a solid backcourt next season. C Jeremy Caldwell should have a solid senior season next year. Tevester Anderson's strategy of bringing his starters off the bench a year ago gave some youngsters the feel of what it is like to be counted on right away.

THE BAD NEWS
While the Tigers do not need to do a lot to improve their offensive game, they still need to find a way to stop teams. Unless some underclassmen step up big next season, the Tigers may have trouble with depth.

KEY RETURNEES
Sophomore G Grant Maxey will be the man in Tiger town. Junior G Darrion Griffin and junior C Jeremy Caldwell will also be counted on to carry the load.

ROSTER REPORT

--Sophomore F Garrison Johnson started 19 games and averaged 24.3 minutes a game, scoring 7.5 points.

--Freshman G Jerome Davis started eight games and averaged 3.3 points a game.
