Why am I not surprised?

OJ Mayo reportedly took thousands of dollars of cash and other gifts while at USC and in high school. What it it with USC and paying off its athletes, (Reggie Bush)? What an embarrassment. Even if they turn out to be untrue, it can't be good for a universities reputation to be constantly under investigation for its athletes taking money. Another reason why i love UCLA.

Academic Progress Rates

NCAA just released APR which based on eligibility, retention, and graduation of scholarship student-athletes. So, far we performed well with 21 out 24 athletic programs met well above the cut off points.

Our crosstown just received their sanction and limit their basketball scholarship to 11 from maximum of 13. Other than their players didn't graduate, the APR also took consider ...(more)

The New FAB 5 in Westwood?

Jill Painter of the LA Daily News confirmed with J'mison Morgan's brother that he's heading to us for sure. LSU has not made it official yet but they will grant a release. This will make a great 5 freshmen coming to us for this upcoming season.

J'mison Morgan

The buzz on him is gaining speed this week as it coincides with the announcement of Kevin Love to NBA. We were one of the final 3 schools before he decided to sign with LSU (Kansas was the other). Ticket for Scully & Wooden on June 13, 2008 at the Nokia Theatre are on sale today. They will be on stage to share stories.
