MVSU assistant Ivory taking over at Arkansas-Pine Bluff

PINE BLUFF, Ark. -- Mississippi Valley State assistant George Ivory is taking over as the new basketball coach at Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

UAPB said Ivory was to be introduced at a news conference Thursday. He replaces Van Holt, who resigned earlier this month after six seasons.

UAPB and Mississippi Valley State both play in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
