Rich Eisen, CBS Sports RICH EISEN
Studio Host/Play-by-Play

Rich Eisen is in his second year as Host/Play-by-Play announcer for CBS Sports' U.S. Open coverage and will host U.S. OPEN LATE NIGHT SHOW. He will serve as secondary play-by-play announcer during the Network's weekend coverage and host of "NFL Total Access" on the NFL Network.

He has appeared regularly on VH1 anthology series "I Love the 70s", "I Love the 80s" and "I Love the 90s". Eisen joined ESPN as an anchor/reporter for "SportsCenter" in 1996. During his seven years at ESPN, Eisen has anchored "Baseball2Day" on ESPN2 and also called play-by-play for ESPN and ESPN2's coverage of Major League Baseball. He co-hosted "SportsCenter," ESPN's flagship sports news program…also has served as an ESPNEWS anchor.

Eisen is host of "Baseball Tonight," and hosted "RPM 2Night," and the pre- and post-ESPY Awards show. Prior to joining ESPN, he worked at KRCR-TV (Redding, Calif.) as a sports anchor/reporter (1994-96). He also worked as the Medill News Service's Washington correspondent (1994) and was a production assistant in 1994 for the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH DAN RATHER AND CONNIE CHUNG.

Eisen was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and raised in Staten Island. He resides in Beverly Hills, Calif. and is married to ABC Sports College Football sideline reporter and NBA TV Correspondent Suzy Shuster.
