FIRST WINNER IN THE "15 SECONDS" USER-GENERATED VIDEO CONTEST TO BE REVEALED ON CBS, SUNDAY, FEB. 4 AT 2:43 PM, ET/11:43 AM, PT
Campaign That Started Online On YouTube To Culminate On-Air On CBS On Super Bowl Sunday
The first winning user-generated video in CBS Interactive's "15 Second" campaign will be broadcast this Sunday, Feb. 4th at approximately 2:43 PM, ET/11:43 AM, PT on CBS during a commercial break in the Network's pre-game coverage of Super Bowl XLI.
Six finalists were chosen from hundreds of videos submitted on YouTube. The finalists' videos can be viewed at: http://www.cbs.com/originals/15_seconds.
Selected "15 Second" viewer videos will continue to be broadcast on the CBS Television Network in the coming months. The broadcast date for the next viewer video will be announced shortly.
Viewers can submit their 15-second taped message now on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/group/15seconds. The videos need to be an inspiring 15-second message on any topic the viewer chooses. Every two weeks, CBS Interactive will select five videos from the "15 Seconds on CBS" YouTube Group and post them on CBS.com. From the videos posted on CBS.com, the judges will select at least one video for possible broadcast each calendar quarter on the CBS Television Network. Viewers submitting videos must be 18 years of age or older and must abide by YouTube's Community Guidelines at http://www.youtube.com/t/community_guidelines. No profanity or nudity will be accepted.
