CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR MOTOs ON WITH GRAND PRIX OF GERMANY ON SUNDAY
CBS Sports broadcasts the MotoGP GRAND PRIX OF GERMANY on Sunday, July 15 (1:00-2:00 PM, ET) from Sachsenring, Germany. With the season just passed the halfway point, this will be the 10th stop on the circuit. The German MotoGP continues to be one of the most popular sporting events in Germany. Sachsenring first hosted MotoGP in 1998 and since then, many improvements have been made to the track, including a drastic layout enhancement in 2001. Thanks to a numerous mix of high and low speed turns, Sachsenring is one of the more difficult courses on the calendar, with limited overtaking possibilities. In 2002 the Mercedes Arena was added and it extended the circuit by almost half a kilometer. With premier riders such as Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden, Dani Pedrosa and Marco Melandri, the race promises to be full of action. Jeff Medders and MotoGP legend Kevin Schwantz cover all the action for CBS Sports. Bryan Lilley is the coordinating producer.
Tony Petitti is Executive Vice President and Executive Producer, CBS Sports.
