Kyle Busch led a race-high 169 of 367 laps in a Toyota he described early in the race as the "most pathetic" he'd ever driven en route to victory at Darlington Raceway. It was his third Cup victory of the season and eighth spanning all of NASCAR's top three series. And it wasn't without challenges as he overcame a penalty for a loose lug nut to rally for the win. Next weekend brings the All-Star festivities from Lowe's Motor Speedway.

questions from a nascar newbie

I am a nascar newbie so this may be a dumb question but I hope someone can clear up a few things for me. Thanks in advance.

 

First about the allstar race. According to nascar.com Race-winning drivers and car owners from the previous and current Cup Series seasons are included in the race. Does that mean if for instance tony stewart won a race this year or last that HE is i ...(more)

I`am new to nascar but I love Clint Bowyer and I tell people that , but I get a lot of flack from my friends saying they copy other teams engins , its a stock car now grant it you can tweak your ride but if Childress is winning should`nt they deserve some respect Clint Boywer as of today is the best Childress driver there is and I think he is the futre of Childress so give him some respect, and I ...(more)

Do you honestly think that Kurt Busch will hold on to the lead in the NASCAR standing ? I will admit that he is having a fine season, but my boy Jeff Burton will by-pass him in the very near future !
